Everything you need to know about BrickyBrick
BrickyBrick is a creative platform for brick builders of all ages. Upload photos of your brick creations, generate AI-powered animations, compete in contests, and share your builds with a community of builders.
Yes! The free plan includes 3 animation credits per month, the ability to upload unlimited builds, vote on other builds, and enter free contests. Paid plans offer more animation credits, contest access, and family features.
BrickyBrick is for brick builders of every age — kids, teens, adults, lifelong AFOLs alike. Contests use age brackets so everyone competes fairly with their peers, and all content is moderated to keep the community safe and welcoming. Kids on family plans don't need their own email — parents manage everything.
Yes! BrickyBrick is all about real, physical brick builds. Take photos of something you've built with real bricks, upload them, and then watch them come to life with AI animation.
Animation credits are used to generate AI-animated videos of your builds. Each animation costs 1 credit. Free accounts get 3 credits per month. Builder and Creator plans get more, and you can purchase extra credits anytime.
Contest credits let you enter prize contests where you can win real brick sets. Free contests don't require credits, but Standard and Premium contests do. Builder plans get 4 per month, Creator plans get 10.
Yes! Invite friends to BrickyBrick using your referral link. When they sign up, you get a free animation credit. We also occasionally drop free credits to subscribers — make sure you've opted into email notifications so you don't miss them.
Free includes monthly animation credits and access to free contests. Builder unlocks Standard prize contests, more animation credits, and the ability to purchase extras anytime. Creator adds Premium prize contests and the largest credit allotment. Every paid tier is also offered as a Family Plan that shares animation credits across multiple members (kids don't need their own email — parents manage entries). See the plans page for current pricing and exact credit amounts.
A Family Plan lets multiple builders share one subscription. Animation credits are shared across the family, each member earns their own XP, and there's a family leaderboard to see who's building the most. It's great for families who build together!
No! For younger kids, the parent (Master Builder) can create and manage their profiles without an email. Parents submit builds on their behalf, and the kid's XP is tracked separately. Older kids or teens can be invited with their own account if they want to log in themselves.
Family Plans support up to 6 members total (the account holder plus up to 5 additional members). The base plan includes 2 members, and extra members can be added for a small monthly fee.
Yes! If a family member with their own account leaves the family, all their builds, animations, and XP stay with them. The only thing they lose access to is the shared family credit pool.
Upload photos of your build, then tap the Animate button. Our AI analyzes your build and generates a 5-second video where your creation comes to life — minifigures move, vehicles drive, buildings light up. Each animation uses 1 animation credit.
Yes, as long as you have photos of a real brick build and an animation credit. The AI works best with clear, well-lit photos. You can generate multiple animations of the same build to get different results.
Each week there's a themed contest with two tracks: free and prize. Submissions are open Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, voting opens and the community picks their favorites. You can enter the free track at no cost (earn XP), or spend a contest credit to enter the prize track for a chance to win real brick sets.
Winners are chosen by a weighted score combining community votes and admin judging. Entries are evaluated within age brackets so younger builders compete fairly against peers. To be eligible for prizes, you must cast your votes during the Sunday voting window.
You can browse every entry in a contest using the bracket tabs, but you can only cast votes inside your own age group. That keeps the playing field fair — a contest full of adult builders won't drown out the kids' bracket, and vice versa. Your vote cap is sized to your bracket only.
The free track costs nothing — you earn XP for entering and can still receive community votes. The prize track costs 1 contest credit but makes you eligible to win real brick set prizes. Both tracks share the same contest theme and voting pool.
Voting isn't required, but it's strongly encouraged. If you entered the prize track, you must use your votes during the voting window to remain eligible for prizes. You earn 5 XP per vote, and voting at least once each week builds your voting streak for bonus animation credits.
Voting streaks reward consistent participation. Vote at least once in any contest each calendar week (Monday through Sunday) to keep your streak going. Milestones: 3 weeks earns 1 animation credit, 7 weeks earns 2 credits plus the On Fire badge, 12 weeks earns 3 credits plus the Streak Master title, and 25 weeks earns 5 credits plus the Dedicated Builder title. Missing a full week resets your streak, but you get 1 free streak freeze per month to protect it. You can also purchase additional freezes for 1 animation credit each.
All uploaded images are checked by AI moderation before going public. Usernames are screened for inappropriate content. Community members can flag posts for review. We also filter age-appropriate contests for younger builders.
Yes! Every post in the Brickyard has a flag button. Tap it, select a reason, and our team will review it. We take reports seriously and act quickly to keep the community safe.
You earn XP for almost everything — uploading builds (50 XP), generating animations (100 XP), entering contests (25 XP), winning contests (500 XP), voting (5 XP), and receiving votes (10 XP). XP determines your level, and higher levels unlock bragging rights!
No — XP is earned individually by each family member. The family leaderboard shows everyone's XP so you can see who's the top builder in your household!
